The Spaniard Guillermo Garcia Lopez, suffering from physical problems, was beaten in the first round of the Paris-Bercy Tournament, the last Masters 1000 of the season, by Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, who won convincingly 6-0, 6-3.
The tennis player from Albacete stated that he felt some back discomfort, which had been dragging on since the last match of the preliminary phase, in which he beat Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis. This victory opened him the door to the final table.

The tennis player from La Roda (Albacete) went out yesterday of Basel ATP 500 Tournament (Switzerland), after losing his duel with local tennis player Marco Chiudeinelli in three sets (5-7, 6-3 and 6-4), and more than two hours and fourty minutes.
Last week he had to leave during the first round of Vienna Tournament because of a lesion, but this time García Lopez started playing at a good level. Spanish tennis player Guillermo García López left Viena tournament yesterday, during the match against Slovene Aljaz Bedene, who controlled the match (6-4, 1-0), and passed to the second round.
Guillermo seemed to be out of the match from the beginning. He couldn’t make a stand against his opponent’s play, and finally was forced to leave because of physical discomforts. Viena tournament will go on without Spanish representation.

Yesterday Guillermo García-Lopez said goodbye to his presence in the Chinese capital, after being beaten by Querrey (5-7, 6-3 and 6-4), and by Ukrainian Alexandre Dolgopolov (6-0 and 6-4)
In the duel between García-López and Dolgopolov, 6th favourite in Beijing, the Ukrainian tennis player trounced Guillermo in the first set (6-0), and in the second one he took advantage of the other player’s bad day and managed to win a place in the second round.

Spanish tennis player Guillermo García López wasn’t able to pass to the second round of Bangkok tennis tournament, and he left after losing the match in two sets against the 8th favourite, Australian Bernard Tomic, whom he could only win two games.
Tomic, who trounced Garcia Lopez in one hour and eleven minutes with a score of 6-0 and 6-2, will play in quarter-finals against Israeli Dudi Sela, who was today executioner of Swiss Marco Chiudinelli (6-4 and 6-4)
